We invite you to join the second workshop organised around P.I.E. (Performative Impro Encounters). This time with the great improviser Luca Kancsó (HU).

Description:

Besides our monthly Instant Composition evenings in Punctum, we want to encourage everyone to dive in the world of performing improvisation. Feel welcomed to this series of workshops led by inspiring international improvisers.

"In this workshop, we bring awareness to the unconscious impulses that lie deep within our bodies, gently tuning our perception to open up and follow these inner signals. Through improvisation, we playfully experiment with space, time, and our reactions — alone, in pairs, and in groups. Together, we explore how movements arise from the present moment while attentively supporting and responding to each other, creating through composition a sensitive environment where every phenomenon can find space and emerge. This subtle interplay shapes the entirety of our dance as well."

About Luca Kancsó

She began her studies at the Budapest Contemporary Dance School and then completed them at the Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance (SEAD). In 2017, she was a member of the Bodhi Project company. She collaborated and worked with various creators such as: Jan Lauwers, David Zambrano, Katja Büchtemann, Cecilia Bengolea, Mala Kline, Gl Eszter, Zoltán Nagy, Adrienn Hód, Imre Vass, Csaba Molnár, Nóra Hajós. She has held workshops in several institutions, including the Camping international choreographic platform in Paris and SEAD. Since 2022, she has been a permanent teacher at the Budapest College of Circus Arts and Contemporary Dance. She is a co-founder of and currently works with the AHA Collective.

• Who is it for?: All movers, sound makers or object manipulators are welcome
• When?: 11th and 12th of October, 10:00 - 16:00 (one hour lunch break)
• Place: Punctum - Krásovka (Krásova 803/27, 130 00 Praha 3-Žižkov)

• What to bring: Comfortable clothes, musical instrument if you're a musician... also, it's recommended to bring a notebook (something where to write your personal notes)
