Art is not a luxury; it's vital sustenance.
We need it to make sense of this life.
In dancing our dance, in singing our song, in telling our story,
we invite each other to listen to our common humanity.
Then the healing happens.

Flow - Complicity - Creativity - Physical Meditation - Longevity

An expressive movement/dance experience can provide tools to tune into oneself and simultaneously connect with our partner and our environment. It can be an embodied experience of compassionate complicity, of flow, as well as a physical meditation that brings us to the present in a multilayered, sensual way.
What we will be searching for is that moment where we are dreaming together with our feet.

At the same time, in a playful way, we will explore cacophonies, disharmonies, and moments in which we will courageously destroy, in order to create something new and unexpected.

The combination of Contact Impro, Tango, Tai Chi, Play Fight, Fusion Dance, Physical Theatre, and Somatics elements can provide a variety of movements that enrich our physical, emotional, and creative well-being.

We aim for an expression articulated through body language, swing, flow, touch, and images that can bring clarity to our inner being and become enriched in the process of sharing it with others.

This open combination, boundless of a given style, developed in a playful environment, provides the possibility to deepen the understanding of our beings and our physical relationship with society and nature.

FOR WHOM:

This workshop is open to people of all ages and experiences interested in movement creation as a path of knowledge, healing, communication, and personal enrichment.

It will be taught in English.
